Watch 30 minutes of Resident Evil 2 remake footage

A few days ago, Capcom revealed new footage from the Resident Evil 2 remake launching on Xbox One and other platforms on Jan 25, 2022. The livestream focuses on Claire'southward entrada and what she has to fight confronting. The zombies have never looked more gruesome! This is a remake along the lines of Gears of State of war: Ultimate Edition because it'south such a dramatic shift from the original experience.

At the PlayStation E3 2022 reveal, it was unclear if the game was a PlayStation four exclusive or coming to other platforms. Luckily, we reached out to Capcom and the team provided u.s. with confirmation that Resident Evil ii was indeed coming to Xbox One, with Xbox One X enhancements in tow.

The Xbox Store lists Resident Evil 2 as a "4K Ultra Hd" championship. In an interview with GamingBolt, Capcom Brand Manager Mike Lunn said players will besides get a 60 FPS option.

Resident Evil 2 originally launched in 1998 and is considered a cult classic. The championship features tense exploration and puzzle-solving gameplay that are staples in the series even to this day. For those unfamiliar with the story, players join rookie police officeholder Leon Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield, who are thrust together past a disastrous outbreak in Raccoon City. The illness transforms the population into deadly zombies who just desire to kill.
